After opening it up, there was a few large power capacitors that had leaked black goop all over the inside, including coating the rectifier tube socket. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9824-640x426.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9824\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-41\" srcset=\"http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9824-640x426.jpg 640w, http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9824-1920x1280.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We replaced all of those capacitors with Sprague Atoms. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9875-640x426.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9875\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-45\" srcset=\"http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9875-640x426.jpg 640w, http:\/\/amplification.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/IMG_9875-1920x1280.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Most of the other capacitors in the amp were shot, a few were split right in half.
